Boogie is from Serbia and may have worked in computers at one time but found his voice through documentary photography.  His creative eye has showcased humans from many different walks of life who live by the sword, die by the sword.  We were all fortunate to have Boogie document and contribute to the photographic moments of the HBO Series “How To Make It In America.”

Boogie’s photography for HTMIIA is a photo archive that quietly represents the final breath of analog youth culture.  Focusing on a blink of an eye moment and the last version of downtown NYC without iPhones, Instagram, and Uber.  You haven’t thought about this moment because it barely existed, and this book of Boogie x HTMIIA photography is a great reminder of that last moment before we jumped off the cliff into social media influencing and the decade of “We“.
